Natural gas is important.

Industry insiders pointed out that natural gas has a good substitute for traditional energy in power generation, civil use, transportation, chemical industry, etc., and is cleaner, which has become the "highlight" of energy development ". China's downstream demand for natural gas has grown rapidly in recent years, driving oil companies to invest more and more in upstream exploration and development.

The West-East Gas Pipeline, which has been put into commercial operation, has an annual gas transmission capacity of 12 billion cubic meters. It has been put into operation for nearly 5 years. The pipeline network covers more than 70 cities and more than 3000 large and medium-sized enterprises. It has benefited nearly 0.2 billion people and has become the Bohai Sea and the Yangtze River Delta. The main gas supply source for the two major economic circles.

The speed of market development is amazing. The West-East Gas Pipeline, which was originally expected to reach 12 billion square meters in 2010, began to implement the "increased transmission project" in 2006, with an investment of 5 billion billion yuan, increasing the transmission volume from 12 billion square meters to 17 billion square meters.

PetroChina also signed an agreement with Central Asian countries that the upstream gas source of the second-line "West-East Gas Pipeline" project comes from Turkmenistan, enters Horgos, Xinjiang, China, passes through 14 provinces and municipalities to reach the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta regions, and finally passes through Guangdong to Hong Kong, and the main road is 4945 kilometers in the country.

In addition, there are various gas sources under construction, such as "Sichuan-to-East Gas Transmission", East China Sea Gas, South China Sea Gas, and imported liquefied natural gas (LNG) to meet the supply.

Nuclear power hydropower investment enthusiasm
In addition to natural gas, new energy forms such as nuclear energy and hydropower have also attracted more and more attention, appearing in the list of 4 trillion investment projects.

Nuclear power is the main use of nuclear energy and will become a major direction for China's future energy development., Nuclear energy is the best alternative to fossil energy. The "alternative role" of nuclear power will play a leading role in the development of nuclear power in the next 10-20 years. The development speed and business cycle of nuclear power will fluctuate with the strength of its alternative.

Oil, coal, natural gas and other fossil energy is not renewable, its external costs are gradually increasing, and technological progress will continue to reduce the cost of nuclear power. Replacing coal power with nuclear power is also conducive to reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

At present, China has put into operation nuclear power installed capacity of about 9 million kilowatts, accounting for 1.3 of the total installed power. According to the Medium and Long-term Development Plan for Nuclear Power (2005-2020), the installed capacity of nuclear power will reach 40 million kilowatts by 2020, and 18 million kilowatts of projects under construction will be carried forward to construction after 2020, when nuclear power will account for more than 5% of the total installed capacity.

In April this year, the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation issued a notice that within 15 years from the month following the official commercial commissioning of nuclear power units, the policy of levying value-added tax first and refunding will be implemented uniformly, and the return ratio will be in accordance with 1-5 years, 6-10 years, and 11-In 15 years, the three proportions of 75%, 70%, and 55% decrease step by step.

At present, the enthusiasm for investing in nuclear power is very high. The site selection of nuclear power plants specified in the "Plan" will be given priority from coastal cities, but some inland provinces have also applied for the construction of nuclear power plants.

In terms of hydropower, as of the end of last year, the country's installed capacity of hydropower was 0.145 billion kilowatts, accounting for 36% of the economically exploitable capacity. According to the plan, the installed capacity of hydropower in China will reach 0.19 billion kilowatts by 2010 and 0.3 billion kilowatts by 2020, and the development proportion of economic reserves will exceed 70%.
