Yuan huilin introduced that peroxide crosslinkable halogen-free flame retardant polyethylene cable material is suitable for wire sheathing and wire and cable threading pipe, and for wire sheathing and wire and cable threading pipe in public places, buildings, elevator rooms, civil houses, vehicles and ships. The use of the product temperature can be resistant to 120 ℃, flame retardant, no toxic gases released when burning, no smoke or smoke density is very low.

Yuan huilin suggested that the processing temperature is recommended to be 107~113 ℃, for conventional extruders, the screw length-diameter ratio is 20~25, the compression ratio is 2:1 or 3:1, the die should be short, the enlargement ratio of caliber diameter to product diameter can reach 20%, and after extrusion processing, it enters a high-temperature salt bath or vulcanization channel at 204~210 ℃ for post-curing, with a residence time of 15~20 seconds. The crosslinked product can be used at 125°C. Filter maximum 40 mesh. No pre-drying is required before use.

Yuan huilin said that there are mainly two kinds of irradiation cross-linked low-voltage wires for automobiles on the market, one is 105 ℃ irradiation cross-linked PVC insulated automobile wires; The second is 125 ℃ irradiation cross-linked polyolefin insulated automobile wire. The standard has the United States SAE, Japan JASO, Germany DIN, France PSA, etc., but the domestic production of varieties and quality can not fully meet the market demand, still need a large number of imports.
