State Nuclear and Westinghouse renew strategic cooperation agreement

2008The two companies signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the first time. The renewal of the strategic agreement indicates that the two sides will continue to promote cooperation in the field of nuclear energy between China and the United States based on the principle of friendly cooperation and mutual benefit.

S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu and former director of the National Energy Administration Zhang Guobao attended and witnessed the signing ceremony. Kang Ruishi, global president and CEO of Westinghouse, and Wang Binghua, chairman of State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation, signed the agreement.
