The message from the International Wind Energy Expo that closed in Beijing: As a clean and renewable energy source, wind energy is so large that it can use up to more than 20 billion kilowatts of wind energy, which is more than the total amount of water energy that can be developed and utilized on the earth. 20 times more.
The message from the International Wind Energy Expo that closed in Beijing: As a clean and renewable energy source, wind energy is so large that it can use up to more than 20 billion kilowatts of wind energy, which is more than the total amount of water energy that can be developed and utilized on the earth. 20 times more.
Although the financial tsunami triggered by the subprime mortgage crisis in the United States has swept the world, as one of the sunrise industries in the real economy, wind energy is becoming a new hot spot for global capital pursuit, and it has been paid more and more attention by countries all over the world. The Chinese wind power market is regarded by the industry as the market with the greatest potential.
Favorable policies affect huge business opportunities
According to the conference data, my country has a vast territory, a long coastline, and abundant wind energy resources. The total reserves of wind energy resources are about 3.226 billion MW, the land wind energy reserves that can be developed and utilized are 0.253 billion MW, and the offshore wind energy reserves that can be developed and utilized are 0.75 billion MW, totaling about 1 billion MW.
On the one hand, it has abundant resources. On the other hand, the "Medium and Long-term Development Plan for Renewable Energy" formulated by the Chinese government also sets clear goals for the development of the wind power industry. The plan proposes that by 2010 and 2020, China's total installed wind power capacity should reach 5 million kilowatts and 30 million kilowatts. According to the installed cost of 6500 yuan per kilowatt of wind power, a total investment of about 200 billion yuan is required to add 30 million kilowatts of installed capacity. The fact is that as of August 2008, China's total installed capacity of wind power has reached 7 million kilowatts, ranking fifth in the world, which means that China has entered the ranks of renewable energy countries. By the end of 2008, the scale of wind power may reach 10 million kilowatts, and the cumulative installed capacity will reach 20 million kilowatts by 2010.
The Renewable Energy Law, which came into effect on January 1, 2006, requires power grid companies to facilitate the access of renewable energy power to the Internet, and to purchase renewable energy power that meets the standards in full, so that renewable energy power companies can survive. And fiscal and taxation policy support will be given to gradually improve its competitiveness in the energy market.
Considering that the investment cost of renewable energy development and utilization is relatively high at this stage, in order to speed up technology development and market formation, the Renewable Energy Law also separately sets up special funds for renewable energy development, provides financial discount loans for renewable energy development and utilization projects, and provides tax incentives and other supporting measures for projects listed in the guiding objectives for the development of renewable energy industry.
Breakthrough barriers to occupy the technological heights
Wind power entry barriers are high, equipment investment is huge, related technologies are complex, and unit production requirements are harsh. Therefore, the wind turbine manufacturing industry is the key point that the world must solve in the study of wind power generation. Whoever occupies the industrial highland of wind turbine manufacturing will have the core competitiveness.
According to statistics, as of 2007, a total of 6458 wind turbines have been installed nationwide, with an installed capacity of 6.22 million kilowatts. Among them, the cumulative capacity of domestic MW wind turbine assembly capacity is 1120 MW, accounting for 19%. By the end of 2006, the total installed capacity of wind power in China was only 2.6 million kilowatts. In 2007, the installed capacity of wind power was 3.6 million kilowatts, with a cumulative installed growth rate of 140.
Although there are many problems in China's wind power manufacturing industry, it is mainly because the development of China's wind power industry is not long, and wind turbine manufacturing is a field with equal emphasis on technology and experience, and production experience plays an important role in the field of wind turbine manufacturing. Therefore, with the accumulation of practice and experience and the internal reorganization of the industry, China's wind power manufacturing industry, which sits on a huge market, will usher in a bright future.
The financial storm set off a wind power boom
In the face of the global financial crisis, Zerworth, chairman of the Global Wind Energy Council, who came to Beijing to participate in the International Wind Energy Expo, said that compared with other industries, especially the traditional fossil energy industry, wind energy has been less affected by the financial crisis. The current plunge in international crude oil and natural gas prices may have an indirect impact on the development of the world's wind energy industry. Wind energy as the main alternative energy, even if the international energy prices fall, the world's decision makers, taking into account the factors of environmental pollution and climate change, will still vigorously develop wind energy.
WISCO, China's largest wind turbine equipment manufacturer and chairman of Xinjiang Goldwind Technology Co, expects: "It is a better opportunity to invest in the wind power industry now, both in terms of investment and in terms of the transformation of some traditional industries. In the last two years, many large companies have joined the wind power industry, and this energy will be released in the next few years, thus driving the rapid development of the entire industry."
"In 2007, 15% of the global wind power investment was invested in the Chinese market, and China has become the world's largest wind power market." Li Junfeng, deputy director of the Energy Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission, said that China's wind power industry attracted investment of up to 34 billion billion yuan last year, which shows the strong confidence of global capital in China's wind power industry.
